Happy Birthday to me

I'm 25. I remember thinking 25 was old. 25 years from now i'll probably look back and think how young it is. :P

I had a very nice birthday. the afternoon part was with family, which was fun. went out for lunch, came back, gave gifts, said nice things about the birthday person, which was actually both dad and I.

I got some nice gifts. :) Mom bought me a whole bunch of material, 6 metres of Nova Scotian tartan. I am going to make a skirt and wrap. Sarah and Naomi bought me earrings and eyeshadow. Zack got me some perfume.
Herman's mom bought me a gift, which really surprised me. She bought back some things from Hong Kong, like a fan and chopsticks with my name engraved (english on one, chinese on the other), but she also bought me a 18K white gold chain. It's very delicate and very pretty.

Herman took me out for dinner. We had a beautiful candlelit dinner at the CN Tower. He bought me a white gold necklace with a sapphire heart pendant. The pendant is set in white gold with diamonds. It's absolutely stunning.All in all it was a nice weekend. Very relaxing.

I'm tired now, though. Not sure why. It's not like I've actually DONE anything today. Maybe I'm tired because I haven't done anything. ;) Sometimes that happens.Or maybe I'm just feeling withdrawn and introspective.
